Support Our Work
Can your business help us transform the lives
of young people in Greater Manchester?

In these anxious and uncertain times, we know young people need us more than ever. Your organisation has the power to make an extraordinary impact on the lives of vulnerable young people in Greater Manchester.

We’re proud to be working in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) to deliver a Department for Education funded skills pilot called Future Workforce Fund. GMCA have committed to match-fund a strategic co-investment with employers, presenting businesses with a remarkable opportunity to support thousands of young people in Greater Manchester over the next two years.

With many young people now unable to access the jobs, training and education which will set them up for the rest of their lives, our support is vital. Future Workforce Fund is the key enabler in bringing purposeful businesses closer to the young people of Greater Manchester so we can:

  • Help improve young people’s wellbeing, hope and optimism for the future
  • Support young people to access inclusive employment
  • Support progression into the workplace and address key youth unemployment issues
  • Reduce social and economic inequality

How your business can help

As your business and workforce adapts to the new economic conditions, there are a range of ways you can support our work with young people in Greater Manchester:

  • Help provide experience of the workplace which will help young people gain valuable insights into the world of work
  • Offer quality work placements in key industries that will support young people in accessing vital skills and training
  • Help unlock match funding from government by providing financial investment to support the development and innovation of new employability programmes that will help recruit new talent into your business
  • Provide mentoring support to young people in education to help raise their aspirations and support them in making informed choices about their future career

In Greater Manchester, too many young people are being left behind without a job or the skills they need to find one.
