Are you looking to start your career in social care?
Next Stage support their residents to carry on enjoying the every day routines we all cherish. Next Stage's homes offer a wide variety of lifestyle choices tailored to ability, goals and aspirations not limited by risk and disability. This course will prepare you for the Support Worker roles that Next Stage will be recruiting for at their St Paul's Court and St Croston's Court locations in Bury.
Over the two weeks of the course, your time will be split into a mix of online sessions and work experience placement days in a care home in Bury. You will take part in workshops that will prepare you for your roles in health and social care, covering: safeguarding, resilience, transferable skills, and support with CV writing and job interview preparation.
You'll spend the majority of your time undertaking a placement in a care home, gaining valuable hands-on work experience to prepare you for a permanent role with Next Stage.
To be eligible for this course, you must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and able to travel to Bury.
