Our Current Development Awards Offers
Development Awards can help to cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to help you achieve your goals. We can offer up to £250 per young person, and up to £500 if that young person is a care leaver.
These awards can be granted for things such as:
Course materials, such as books, equipment etc
SIA Cards
Funding for courses
ID, such as passports or driving licenses
Travel cards
Clothing for work or interviews
To be eligible, you must be:
Aged 16-30 and living in the UK
Studying less than 14 hours a week or not in compulsory education
Unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week
FREE Vodafone 20GB SIM Cards

Our new SIM card offer is now available for young people across Greater Manchester!
With the help of Vodafone, we are supplying free 20GB SIM cards that will help young people in stay connected to help them progress into education, employment or training.
The SIMs contain 20GB of mobile data, unlimited calls and texts every month for six months.
To be eligible a young person must be:
Aged 18-25
Living in Greater Manchester
Not in education, employment or training
If you know a young person who would benefit from a free SIM card, submit an application on their behalf by:

Interim Transport Offer
We are offering free 28-day bus passes to Care Leavers, based in Greater Manchester, aged between 21-25.
To apply, please reach out to your local Care Leaving Team to make the application on your behalf. These bus passes are available to support you moving into education, employment or training.
Interim Wi-Fi Offer
If you are aged 16-30, we are offering to provide a grant for pre-paid Wi-Fi dongles, so you can continue to access your education and your support networks throughout Covid-19, without impacting your phone’s data limit.
If you do not have Wi-Fi at home, or are struggling with your current allowance to reach out to others when you’re in need of support, we can provide these dongles directly to your home address, and provide top-ups on a monthly basis when required.
Computing Equipment Offer
If you are struggling to access our Prince’s Trust courses online as you do not currently have a computer at home, we are offering to provide a grant for tablets and laptops to support you in engaging in education, courses and training.
If you are currently in education and struggling to access your education online due to lack of equipment as a result of education moving online, we can also support you with a grant for a laptop/tablet to continue your engagement.
To be eligible, you must be:
Aged 16-30, not in education, training or employment and need support getting into programmes offered by The Prince’s Trust
Or aged 16-30, part of a ‘specialist group’ and require computing equipment for education/a course you have already enrolled on, or looking to enrol on.
